Many companies claim to have a large volume 3D printer. But the definition of large is not always consistent. It often means that ‘the large size 3D printer’ is only greater than the other printers in their selection.
In our opinion, a large size 3D printer is only truly large when it has a build volume of at least 1 meter (3.3 feet) by 1 meter (3.3 feet). Our largest printer T3500 is able to print up to 2.1 meters (6.9 feet).

But when it comes to seriously large size 3D printing, it is a whole other game. Many manufacturers claim to have a large format 3D printer. First of all, the definition of large is a fuzzy one. Due to the fact that a lot of companies claim they have a big printer because of the printer size. For us, however, the large volume printer is nothing less than a 3D printer that can print a large volume.
What if you want a printer that can actually print something bigger than a trinket? You want to print life-size props or mannequins or furniture? In this case, size does matter and you’ll need a true large volume 3D printer like our T3000 or T3500. With the latter you can print up to 2.1 meters high.
