Maintenance of the 3D printer

Maintenance of the 3D printer is needed periodically. Like every machine, our 3D printers need some maintenance as well. However, with the modulare  and upgrable build of our printers, it’s really easy to do. For every maintenance step we have a guide, which you can find in the manuals as well.

Maintenance

• Maintenance schedule
• Changing the print head
• Change the bed plate
• Dimensional accuracy calibration
• Check for play on the slides
• Check all arms
• Check tension and wear of belts
• Check if print head fan is running after heating up

Cleaning the 3D printer

• Clean the print head and nozzle
• Cleaning the bowden tube
• Cleaning the slides / slide wheels
• Clean casing of the 3D printer
• Clean or replace the feeder / extruder motor
